Prayer for Noynoy (May 27, 1998)

Almighty God, most loving Father
we adore You, we thank You and we praise You.
You answered our prayers when we asked for Your help
in dealing with the problems of the last elections.
Thank You for sending us all those good and kind people
who came to assist us in every way,
protecting us and rescuing us from our enemies.
We ask for Your blessings, O Most Merciful Father
for all those who prayed for us
and all those who supported us.
Thank You, Almighty Father,
for making possible Noynoy’s victory.
We pray that You will teach him
to serve his constituents
with compassion, kindness, humility and patience.
And as always, dear Father in heaven,
have mercy on us and forgive us our sins
And bless us with Your love and peace.  Amen.
