I wish to thank you for everything you've done for the Filipino people and for our country. Bringing back democracy is one thing I will never forget.
Looking back, it was in 1986 when I first traveled to Manila and the experience was so amazing because I have witnessed the EDSA revolution at a very young age. I thought all the while, that it was like that all the time. People are on the streets, marching, chanting. I didn't really understand what was happening. I thought I was just witnessing a fiesta. But when I finally understood why the people are out in the streets I became your number one fan. I became an advocate for a peaceful transition of power. I became aware of what's happening around me.
Now that you're gone, it saddened me the thought that what you've fought for will be in vain. But when I heard Kris in her speech during your interment, I was assured that there are still a lot of people who will continue to fight that your husband and you have started.
I promise also, to continue to live my life according to the very ideals that you have set on how to become a responsible citizen of our country.
As you join your husband and your creator in heaven, I ask you to please continue to pray for all of us left behind. Again, thank you Tita Cory. We love you so much.

I am very proud of the late Pres. Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino even if she's already with God. She had been a GOOD LEADER, a LOVING WIFE to Sen. Ninoy Aquino and a GOOD MOTHER to her 5 siblings, namely Ballsy, Pinky, Noy, Viel and Kris. She might have been gone in this world but definitely she would always remain in the HEARTS of the Filipino people. Handsdown to you Pres. Cory Aquino! We will miss you! =]

Maraming salamat atpaalam.

It was early morning when my husband called & informed me that President Cory Aquino had passed away. My initial shock turned to sadness when,.. on switching on the TV [TFC]...saw the heart breaking words ...Salamat President Cory Aquino" coverage.
It seems just like yesterday when Cory Aquino was thrust into the presidency.
I still remember how my Mom [a teacher who now resides in the US] asked me to accompany her to Edsa to show support. She was a die hard Corynian ika nga.
I will always cherish the memory & am sure my Mom too will. Her strenght in times of adversity, warmth, sincerity and most of all her humility spoke volumes and touched everyone. She will always be a true hero in the hearts and minds of all who knew her and future generations, GOD bless her soul.

Thank You, President Cory !!!
Dear Madam President,
We, the Filipinos in the State of Qatar join with Filipino Overseas Workers around the globe to express our profound sorrow for your passing and for the realization that we will no longer see the beauty of you in person, or hear the wisdom in your voice. Individually our voice may be a drop, yet collectively we are an ocean in paying tribute to you. By this letter, we would like to convey our sincerest message that Madam President, we have stood and will continue to stand, by you, solemnly. “Hindi Ka Nag-iisa”.
We struggle, Madam President, to accept the fact that you have left us, making us orphaned of the kind of decency and good manners you have taught us, and demonstrated to us not only in words, but in your person in words and in deeds. We are especially grieving your passing, because most of us never had the privilege in our lives to see you in person, and because we were denied the great privilege to be physically present at your bedside and to stand with the millions of Filipinos during your wake and entombment. We would have liked to thank you in person for your greatest gift amongst many, to our beloved Philippines-the gift of democracy. We will surely protect with all our hearts and minds the democracy that your Presidency gave us thereby returning our country back to the people and for the people. No other President could ever have done this.
We all miss you too as a person, as Dear Tita Cory, walking simplicity yet with great plans for the Country and people; calmness in the midst of the treat of corruption and abuse of power, sincerity and humbleness in spite of fame and honor, truth in the midst of deceit in government, and most importantly, faith in the loving GOD.
President Cory, thank you for making us proud to be a Filipino. You shall always remain engraved in our hearts. Thank you for you compassionate love for all those in need, thank you for teaching us the devotion of prayers which we shall believe is the foundation for being a person of dignity and uprightness.
Again, thank you President Cory, Maraming Salamat Po…. Paalam !

Thank you and goodbye... Sana padala ka ng kapalit mo... ...the more I read stories about you, the more I fell inlove with you.
