know that you are now happy with ninoy and God. alam mo, hindi kita ipinagluksa kasi alam ko namang sa langit ka mapupunta, pinanood lang kita sa tv, but i was in tears kc maraming taong nagmamahal sa yo.
truly, i looked up to ninoy, to you and to your family. alam ko kung bakit ka kinuha ni God para sumunod sa yapak mo si noynoy katulad ng pagsunod mo sa yapak ni ninoy. sabi ko, hindi ako boboto sa 2010 kung hindi si noynoy ang candidate for president at dapat president sya at hindi vice president.dapat bigyan mo na siya ng sign.suggestion lang po.cory, pray mo rin ako ha na mapunta sa langit.salamat at paalam.

only a freshman colloge student at that time, i was one of those million who signed their names to encourage you to run for the presidency. i believed in you then and i've always believed.. in your courage, quiet strength, and pure intentions. may you rest in peace with your ninoy.

In a time when her nation and region of the world needed a true hero, Cory Aquino had no problem rising to the challenge. Because of President Aquino's courage and vision, a truly modern and free Filipino nation came into being. The world will never quite be the same without her. Cory Aquino is the true meaning of strength and sacrifice. May the Lord continue to bless her family and nation.

Tita Cory, you are God's chosen angel for the Filipinos. And just like angels, you were tasked to protect,guide and lead us. There were many coincidences in your life that you were truly destined, blessed and prepared for such formidable task. You are truly Mama Mary's daughter for you have the same great virtue of humble obedience as hers. Just as Mama Mary accepted the Father's will to be the mother of our Lord, Jesus Christ; you too accepted the presidency and became the mother of our nation. Your life was not spared from sufferings; they were part of your noble task; from Ninoy's incarceration of 7 years to surviving 7 coup attempts and the many trials in between them. Come to think of it, 7 is God's number and may be found in so many instances in the Bible and your life as well. Truly, God has always been with you. You returned home to our Lord on Aug.1,2009, a first Saturday and as we Catholics know, it is the day of our Lady. I know our Lady must have fetched you. Likewise, your final journey was 5 days later, Aug.5,2009, a Wednesday, the day of our Lady of Perpetual Help and most important of all, the feast day of the dedication of the Basilica of Mary Major in Rome. So many great coincidences! But I say, not coincidences but truly destined and chosen. Thank you Tita Cory for sharing your life with us, for restoring democracy and making us truly proud to be Filipinos and our heritage. You have given so much but expected nothing except to love our country as well. Your simplicity, purity of heart and selflessness have made you special and stand out. Your very name, Maria Corazon speaks of your big heart, for it also means Mary's heart, patterned after our Lady's pure heart. We truly miss you. Maraming,maraming salamat at paalam.
