i'd like to thank her for leaving this country with her legacy.. with her being so known, not by publicity, but by the things she have done to many Filipino people.

Thank you Former President Cory for everything and we hope that you would still continue to guide our country as you are there in heaven. You deserve all the respect that you have earned. Now that you are together with your beloved husband, one of heroes, Benigno Aquino... May both of you rest in peace. Feel the love.

I attended a memoriam mass for the late President Cory C. Aquino on August 12, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Church in Main St., Milpitas, California. The church was full-packed by people, many of whom are clad in their yellow dresses which epitomized the color of the late President. The celebrant Priest is Fr. Andy Ligot, and co-celebrated by several Filipino Priests. At the beginning of the mass, Poi Buenaventura, who was privileged of meeting President Cory during her term, read her piece. She said “x x x x This gesture is our way of expressing our unity with the Filipino people in the Philippines. We are always proud to be a Filipino.” Ms Poi Buenaventura exemplified the good example left behind by President Cory as her legacy to the Filipino people. She ended her synopsis with “x x x For her great contribution to our native country, for her good example, Cory’s memory deserves our respect and prayer. May she rest in peace.”. The celebrant Priest, Fr. Ligot, delivered a very inspiring and emotional homily praising the goodness, devotion and strong faith to God of the late President. Many people are teary-eyed as Fr. Ligot completed his homily.
We are so thankful to the Diocesian Council of Filipino Priests in San Jose, California, spearheaded by Poi Buenaventura for giving us the opportunity to share and express our sentiments of mourning to our countrymen in the Philippines. We are so thankful also to all the Priests that showed their support and solidarity to the Filipinos.
Lastly we are so thankful to God for giving us Tita Cory. We are so thankful to the life of Tita Cory spent here on earth, which became our guiding spirit and our hope. We will never forget you, Madam President Cory, your memory will always live in our heart. Goodbye.

my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of our late President Cory Aquino...i remember a distant relative saying how she met Pres. Aquino and the late Sen. Ninoy Aquino at Iloilo in one of their friend's house. Now, I moreso appreciate her humble leadership, sincerity and 'cleanliness' in her former leadership of the country. may the family find peace in the comfort of friends...in missing her for the rest of their lives. God bless.
